Sean O’Dowd, Master Potter and entrepreneur is the person behind Ballydougan Pottery at Bloomvale House. In the early 1980’s, Sean started his craft pottery and within a few years Ballydougan Pottery became known as one of the most innovative craft studios throughout Ireland. Over the years many awards and accolades have been presented to Ballydougan in recognition of its contribution to Craft, Tourism & Corporate & Social Responsibility.
